Ways to Pay your Rent

About your new rent cards

Community Trust Housing issues three types of payment cards, one for tenants to pay their rent, one for leaseholders to pay their Leaseholder Service Charges and one for residents who pay for garage or street parking spaces.

All residents receive a payment card containing a unique identification number. The card itself has no value and cannot be used to make payments to any other organisation or to get details of your account. This card should be used to support any payments to us as it automatically identifies your account. There are three different types of cards issued by Community Trust Housing:

RENT CARD	For TENANTS to pay rent only.
LEASEHOLDER SERVICE CHARGE CARD	For LEASEHOLDERS to pay their service charges.
PARKING RENT CARD	For ANY RESIDENT who pays for a garage or parking space.

You can also make rent, parking space or service charge payments at the Housing Office using your debit card only.

Direct Debit

All of these payments can still be made using Direct Debit. If you would like to set up Direct Debit payments please come into the Housing Office and ask for a form. Alternatively you can download the forms using the download links to the right of this page

Standing Order

Residents can also make regular payments to CTH by setting up a Standing Order with your bank. Forms are also available to download directly (link to attached pdf). Alternatively you could call into the Housing Office, where your Housing Services Officer will be happy to help you fill it out.

You can make payment to Community Trust Housing using your swipe card at a wide range of local retail outlets displaying the signs below:

 

Pay at any Post Office® branches locally using cash, cheques or debit cards.

 

Make payments using cash or debit cards at any PAYzone™ local outlet.

 

Make cash payments at outlets displaying the e-pay logo.
